plott hound - here is a couple of photos of some seats. This is from a 1949 machine. It was for sale on ebay a couple years ago. I am posting some more photos of it in the memorabilia section of this form.
Good luck with your hunt for seats.

Really clean looking machine. Impressive!!! Can't those seats be made?

I think if you had a door on one side of each of those seats, you'd have a nice bit of clean, dry, storage space. Outta sight-- Outta mind.

grfishmaker I noticed in the bottom pic that just above the back bench seat, there is a long narrow slot cut. what is that for? heat circulation from the engine? if so, wouldn't you get fumes from the engine? I guess it's the same principal that cameron has done with the round holes in the piece he has above the engine. come to think of I'm after seeing a few of them.

No I don't, but I can sure appreciate your past sacrifices. Years ago, we had to clean out the bombardier sheds and we threw out all kinds of seats, windows, rims, tires and all kinds of bombardier parts and pieces. My family had a fleet of six working machines when they were in the fishing business back in the late 40's through to the late 50's. They were all sold off (except for one) in the 60's and all the remaining parts were of no value to us when we had to make room for storage in the early 70's. You never know.
