It looks like the machine never had much use!!

When I pulled it out for the first ride for the year, the milage read 444.

Post by: Cranman on February 16, 2009, 12:18:14 pm: This speedometer is made by WALTHAM. My dad was an old railway man of that era and insisted on Waltham pocket watches for accuracy. I have one of these speedo's like new, got it from Darrell McLean, to put in when I get around to making a new dash. Unfortunately they read at 2x the actual but that can now be corrected by that company in Saskatoon if you want to buy the gear converter. I likely won't bother.

kpm, I live north central North Dakota.
I like the look of the SW gauges. I drove the bomber to town tonight for a meeting,
one of the people in the meeting noticed a car stop to take pictures of it.

Post by: fisher on February 22, 2009, 09:07:52 pm: GPS' are easier for accuracy anyway. Maybe leave your's as is for authenticity. Bombadier speedos were always 2x the real speed.
