The old trucker says that anyone looking for some extra snow to extend your riding season should head out east. These pictures are of the Trans Labrador Highway, (I believe taken in March 2008), and they were expecting another 40cm the next day.

Here's another one from Newfoundland.
This photo is also from March 2008. Those are telephone lines she's holding; not a fence. Now that's a drift! Hopefully it will all melt before fall.
If Manitoba had snow like that, we would probably also be an island when it all melts in the spring. lol

Old Trucker, 90% of our winds out here in Manitoba are from the West. We didn't know that all of our blowing snow from the west landed in Newfoundland. ........Sorry
