Mr. Skurka,
Id be interested to get one of those disks
when -ever your able to burn in the bombardier snowbus material.
Also would you have any copys of the Chrysler canadian 313 poly head
manuals, my 62 bomb came with one originally. and
I cannot find a manual. There are poly forum engines talk, but most refer
to american 318's same engines slight larger bore. and the 313 can ind engines
water pump housing sits 8 inches taller so a weiand manifold won't work, if
you want to go 4 bbl on the old bomb, etc.

thanks

Yup, Snowbusman, that would be a good idea. Caliper/rotor
I had a new pads installed on my drum shoes, but do not
use it much .it is flimsy.  better idea might b to install a rotor
infront of the tranny, because there is more room to facilitate, there.

I have a 62 wide gauge.with 313 v8.

Same original cam, i am running an electric fuel pump, and
an aluminum gas tank 104 liter, that i have mounted outside, between the
radiator and snow cover door,, NO MORE VAPOUR LOCKING, or rusty filters.

I have a spec sheet for 1962
15 passenger wide, 313 v8 = 145hp.
4400lbs, width 78" 4:10 ratio
I have the 4bbl = 30 hps
and headers = 10 hp
electronic ignition..
====  be pushing 185 - 200 hp.
now that is 1962 specs.  don't know what the dyno would say ?

12 passenger narrow 251 6 cyl = 115hp
4200lbs, width 59"  4:10 ratio.

Yes,
Bought a new Weiand 4bbl mani, ( don't fit, front of thermo housing hits back of water pump.)
mine a 313 industrial dodge poly head engine 1962. )
So Itraded a guy in the USA for a stock 4bbl cast intake and bolted a 650 cfm Edelbrock off road
carb on. had to make new throttle linkage hook ups, water hookups, etc..
Nite and day performance. 35% more fun. not much more gas either !!!!

Body / Re: Windows sliding
« on: October 11, 2006, 09:12:30 am »
Ok,, thanks Cranman.
1) I think I will take out the original glass and get a window
guy to make slider frames, I like the ventilation aspect of a slider.
and maybe go with a tinted lexan window.

2) Does yours have the round windows on the sides., if so, where do you buy the rubber glass mounts ?

Can U buy pre-made sliding door windows. My machine is
a 62 wide gauge and cannot open windows. Also interior material
that goes around the 4 round windows ?
