grfishmaker;
To the best of my knowledge these are all still the original chains (I may be wrong) but we never replaced these parts.  My Dad didn't remember Grandpa changing them either unless it was done in the early 1950's.  I have one closer picture of the suspension on my hard drive that I will email Swamp Dawg and ask him to post for me.  We are going for one last ride this weekend, I will see if I can get some better pictures for you.

Hey there OT I checked out the CBC site that you mentioned.  Good find - there were some interesting video clips there.  Thanks for passing on the information.

gror - I have the manual scanned in and put it up on a temporary website at the website address below - I also have an original color brochure from the same time period that I scanned.  The site isn't the most user friendly - but if you click on the pictures it will take you to the rest of them.  There are also a few videos there - if I have a chance I will see about cleaning it up a bit.

Hey Old Trucker - you're wondering about the height from the bottom of my belly - well I'm not real tall and I've got short legs so ...   I'll try to get to it in a couple of days and see what I can provide for measurements for you.  I'll snap a couple pictures for you as well.

Thanks old trucker - its nice to hear that other people appreciate these old woodies too.  Restoring it has been a great project.  If there is any information I can help you with please let me know.  I believe all our parts are original, such as the stop bars and corner gussets.  I'm glad we took a few pics while we were restoring it.

Keep your truck on the road and your bombardier in the ditches!

Hey old trucker - look at the bottom of the page under General Discussions, then click on Page 2 - It will take you to the second page of subjects.  Near the middle of the page is a subject called WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE.  In this subject there was some discussion as to the meaning of the model numbers.  If someone has more information to add please share it.

Hey old trucker - nothing wrong with an old woody, as long as they work - our unit is a B12 CS

What if you set it up under the Photo Gallery?  Members could have a link to a sub page with pictures of their machines.

Hi lakerguy, did you have any luck finding one?  There was one that sold at an Auction Sale (Spring 2007) in Tisdale last year but I don't know how much it went for?? Do you know if Chopperguy sold his?

Which weekend is the rally this year?  I heard about it for the first time last year, but it was too late to make plans.

Thanks RedRanger.  This was a project that I worked on with my Dad.  We spent most evenings and weekends working on it for just over 7 months.  I looked through my pics and didn't find any any compartment pictures except one.  I'll see if I can take a couple and post them.  Before we started we decided to keep it as original as possible, so the inside hasn't really changed from the factory look.
