 HERE ARE OLDSLEDZ PICS OF THE RALLY.

   O.T. This was the scene on Saturday. I believe we had 53 machines for a 90 km. ride. Perfect riding and the support people were great. They made sure that every road crossing was safe and they made sure that nobody was left if they had any break downs or problems. Oldsledz

   Those air bags are what is called a double convalescent bag like the ones used on older Freightliner trucks & for the lift axle on old tri axle trailers. Neat idea & no you don't have freeze up problems. It's just a matter of doing a bit of preventive maintenance. Thanks Oldsledz, great pics.

  I forgot to add that when you plum in the air you add an adjustable valve in line with an air gauge to show what pressure is in the bag. We used to put between 20 - 25 PSI. on the front axle & the cuts that go across the road disappear. Like driving a Caddy !!!  Just my 2 cents worth.

...if u were driving in the bush...i doubt the air bags would last,on a trail i'm sure they would be okay,just like the slide suspension ...great if u have snow....not so great if your running on some gravel now and again..juz my thoughts..lol.

I think the air bags could be good.  It should let you increase the presure putting more ski presure to the ground to help in turning on hard packed snow.

Hats off to Oldsledz for taking time to take some pictures and having OT post them for the rest of us to enjoy. Nice to see they had a good turnout, there are sure some nice machines. Hopefuly there will be someone else who attended and we'll have more photos to see. 53 machines.....thats a good turnout.

    I found this on the net this morning. It is about the St. Raymond Rally. Grfishmaker it looks like one of your mini bombers is at the first of it. Oldsledz, I think that looks like a clip of your machine @ minute 5:06 of the video. Looks great.
