Hello to all and am I glad I found this site.
We purchased a Bombardier a few years ago and would like to get any info on this machine that is available . The  metal identification plate gives us the following numbers:

                                             MODEL:    AA74
                                             CHASSIE:  AA74-6156V
                                             MOTOR:    E220864
                                             MADE AT VALCOURT QUE. CAN.

Regards

Welcome to our web site Bob.
I am not up on the original identification numbers that Bombardier used.Do you have more info like the date of manufacture ,guage and type of body construction. If you have a picture we will post it for you.If some of the fellows see a picture I am sure it will assist in helping you.

Regards
Ray

Hey AmpTrack, Welcome to Northern Tracks !! I haven't seen a tag like that before on an old bomber. But i haven't been at this very long either.
If you look up Mike's 57 rebuild you will see what I thought was the only ID tag on there. I'm interested in seeing a pic of your machine.

Bob
I checked out the manufactures tag on our 1974 or 75 machine
 Model      SNOW 75
 Chassis    AA6223V
 Motor      E264058
Our machine looks very much like yours.I am interested to know what system Bombardier used in creating the Model number in that build era.
I hope some one can shed some light on this issue as well.
