Body / Re: what is the size of skis on r12 1956
« on: June 04, 2013, 01:20:12 pm »

BOUC, if you look at this video it will show how he made the ski made for the woody. I think the bottom is the same but they have different brackets to mount them with. You should have that already on yours.

It starts at the 1:40 minute mark.. I hope this helps you...

I have a pair that belongs to my woody. I think they are 12" wide by 60" long. I would think they are the same for the metal bomber.  Only difference I can see is how they mount. Do you have an old one to copy from ??? . If you look around this site you should find lots of pics of them on the machines....

Parts Manual 1975 Bombi

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just scanned the parts manual we got for our 1975 Bombi. It is in DJVU format to decrease the size. You can get the djvu viewer for windows at http://sourceforge.net/projects/djvu...Libre_Windows/
It is open source and free. I will be uploading the manual and sales brochure as soon as they are scanned. All files have been OCR'd so that the text is searchable

Since i cannot get an attachment to upload to the forum it is available at http://dl.dropbox.com/u/42208572/1975Bombiparts.djvu

Wanted / Re: 1967 to 78 wide gauge
« on: May 13, 2013, 03:49:47 pm »

Oldsledz I don't supposed you would be interested in a 1952 narrow gauge that the owner says is original with the engine rebuilt. It's supposed to be in great shape. It's been in a barn for 30 years now. It's in Beaverton, Ont. He has a few wide gauges that he uses each winter hauling fish huts around. Never know with the season ended he may want to sell something.

Walrus you can email the info on your ID tag to the crowd in Valcourt, Que. They can give you all kinds of info about your bomber. I have a funny feeling that that bomber belongs in Cranberry Portage, MB. I've seen a couple videos of that machine.
