Here's the start of another rebuild. This one was for sale on here & it looks like he's not wasting any time getting started on it. Below is when he first got her..

Here are some pictures from the start of my rebuild. It is a little crowded in the garage. Since I took these I have removed all the doors and started stripping the wood out of the inside. I think I will have to take a trip to Valcort to see how the interior is supposed to look like. Do you know if there was always a strip of wood on the outside?
Thanks for posting the pictures
Doug

I think all of the bombers have the wood strip along the sides to stiffen them up a little. I've seen 57 bomber's rebuild with the wood off & it's pretty puckered without it, he had to put a piece of wood behind to help with the body work. I'm glad I could help you out by getting your rebuild started on here.

Snowgroomer, how are you getting along with your project ?? I hope you are not getting lazy like me. OT.

I really have not done much more. Most of the paint has been removed from the sides. It is now my busy season so it will probably sit for a while. I did get my wide body running so as soon as we get some decent snow I plan to take that for a spin
