Title: Flin Flon to Cranberry pics
Post by: Swamp Dawg on January 03, 2008, 08:55:57 am
We put the 52 back together for a day trip from Flin Flon to Cranberry.  On Athapap there was some serious pressure ridges that we checked out.  Over 8' high in spots.  No problems on the trip, everything ran smooth.

Swamp Dawg I wish you had someone travelling in front of you on skidoo with a video camera, when you were going through the trails on that trip from Flin Flon to Cranberry. The trees, the snow, trail & the machine moving through the trail would look just awesome. If anyone has anything like that I'd like to see it.
I think if someone were on the side of a trail taking a video of the rally with the machines passing by would be awesome. Even add a few highlights of the rally.
You could make a few copies & sell them to other members and/or groups & donate proceeds to a worthy cause or local charity.
Look @ the first picture of your post. A little red bombardier poking its head around the maze of trees. To me sir, that is what it's all about!!!    Wish I were there!!!

Well actually I just finished a little video with just that.  A few inside shots of the trail, a few outside on the trail, night shots, and about half dozen bombs going by at the rally.  I will look into posting it but its really large.

Hey Swamp Dawg I have some video of the trip up to Ted's cabin, going through the trails.  I am trying to find time to clean it up.  Maybe we could exchange some clips.

Swamp Dwag do you still have that DVD that you took at the rally? And does Houlio still have his? I would like very much to have a copy of them to share with my new found bombardier friends down here on the island. Can you burn off a copy of them?
I will gladly send you a money order to cover cost of DVD & postal.
                                                            Thanks,
                                                            The Old Trucker

Youtube says my video is to large.  I need to figure out how to shrink it, it might take a couple days for my buddy to fix it.

Dwag, I would realy appreciate it if you could send me a hard copy of yours & Houlio's so I can get a couple of copies taken off & give to the boys down here.
I was talking to a fellow who just bought a bomber & is thinking about joining NT. He was after looking at this forum & is looking forward getting a lot of info from here to rebuild his.
I'm looking forward to seeing this site come alive again this fall
It's great to see people help people.

Houlio my man, I got to know who that woman is in the pic with the fur coat on splattered all over the side of your bomber.
Got any closeups of her. I think I'd leave the wife just to be along side her !!!  Looks like she could use a bit of 'NEET' on her legs though.
The pic # is 100_0041. Buddy, I gotta tell ya, you got some nice job done to it.

Ha Ha Ha

Hey OT quit staring at my Grandma's Beaver .... coat!!

Two days ago I uploaded a Video on Youtube and I am just finishing loading two more tonight.  Since you seem to have too much time on your hands I won't tell you where to find them - they should be in the right category and if you use the right words to search with you'll find'em.

Once you find them on Youtube you can reply with a post on NT with what to search for.

Have fun OT

Just since you're so good at digging up info for everybody.  There is only two videos the third one may have been to large.  Let me know if you need a hint.

If you want to see the two videos on Youtube, do a search on "Bombardier snowmachine"

They may be on the disc I sent you OT.

HOULIO... HEY HOULIOS where are you HOULIOS...? This is Fred Sanford calling you.
My sonny boys if you think your going to pull the wool over my eyes that easy, you got to get up early in the morning to fool this old trucker, sonny !!!
I never saw the last two posts you sent until I got this post half done. My computer is 14 yrs older than me & your father added together. Got to stay on the good side of the boss for awhile. I've been throwing hints like bringing home flyers from STAPLES & couple others & laying them around places that catch her eye. She's nibbling more & more. When she bites, I'm gone, hook, line & debit card !!!!
I am going to try put them into my favourites list. Looks great.
Have you driven a bombardier.....lately? No I haven't, but I will this winter !!! A new friend of mine just bought that red 57 I was talking about this summer. He lives pretty handy to me. I'm trying to get him to join NT.
