swamp dwag, do you have or can you get a few more pics of the front end?  especially around the steering box and how everything ties in. also a couple of close ups of how the drive sprockets fit in place. that chassis don't seem to be much trouble to build. 3" channel for frame rails and 2 - 2 1/2" tubing for cross members. the more i look at pics the easier it seems to build. i am very interested in restoring a wooden bodied model. that's why i'm interested in the undercarriage. do anybody think the end of an axle can be cut and rewelded?? also cut down the banjo housing???   all close up pics of this area would be just great. like father always said;  IF YA CAN'T FIND IT , BUILD YOUR OWN. !!!!!!!!        thanks  claude

GRFISHMAKER.  i think i may have found some tail lights. check out( tjtrailers.com ) out of utah. according to catalog they sell a 4" teardrop light. they also sell the red lens. they sell only in the states. i called but never got an answer. maybe you know some south of the border. maybe one of our members are from there. (hint hint???)

HEY, SWAMP DWAG!!!!!! the only thing wrong with that video is that i wasn't there. i guess she spun the tracks,  whaaa. man that was realy neat.
  i found out about a couple of old machines down here. but people tell me one was smashed up and the other was rusted completly out. ( sitting by salt water) for 40 to 50 years. anyway, eventually we will suceed .

are northern tracks, the one with the setting sun in the middle of the two words the same as northerntracks.com??? i'm a slow learner when it comes to this stuff. to make the best of it grfishmaker just told me where to go to check out some coats & caps and i'm all shagged up again. oh well like they say; if at first you don't suceed try, try, again.  i'm a trying.

i just checked about tires down here. 4.50 16t. goodyears. he told me it's a smooth thread. is that what they use? they told me they do stock them. price was $146. do that sound like a fair deal?

was i of any help to you? i'm just passing away a bit of time. i've seen & thought about a lot of things while driving down the road over the years. i know that USL. in moncton nb. make metal cabinetry for trucks. they have handles like you want. the # is 1-800-561-8258. they have stainless ones with a lock on them for $28. & plain steel for $20 bucks. i used to get all my truck work there. i think you will like them.

grfishmaker, i was talking to the rep for grote in the atlantic region today.he is going to check and see if any red lens for the teardrop light are hanging around down this neck of the woods. he's going to get back to me. would anyone be interested in buyiny a couple if he gets any? let me know if i can help.

do northern tracks have any caps or t shirts for sale? i know we have over 60 members and still growing. i think it would be nice to wear and advertise something for this site. just imagine, wearing a t shirt with an old bomber pic on it. just wondering what your thoughts are about it.
