Title: what gear ratio to go with?

got a dana 60 rear end in wide guage bom#603319-1  with 4 11s its a semi float,got another dana60 but it has 3 56s and its a full float.what should i expect with the 356s better gas milage or worse or should i stay with 411s?

..i run 4.10's..i'd probally guess you would be better off with the 411...good bottom and mid range power plus cruise speed..

i got a 318 engine ,727 auto tranny

Kind of a trade off. 356 = lower rpm but u might find less time in high gear.

Has anyone ever gone with a 3.73 ratio? I found a full float Dana 60 at the dumps and the ratio is a 3.73. I am thinking it would be great in 1st and 2nd gear but I am no expert in differentials, just trying to get some input from people who has been there and done that.
