Looks great. What is the weight difference between the wood and aluminum body?

I’m not exactly sure. But the builder Kent figures it’s hundreds of pounds.

M.B.,
Is this project something you are doing yourself? Or is someone doing this for you? My reason for asking is that I am looking for someone to rebuild a woody body, and would be an excellent solution. BTW, beautiful workmanship.

The Bomber is being built by a guy by the name of Kent from Riverton, Manitoba. I think this is the 5th or 6th unit he’s converted to Aluminum. Excellent craftsmanship coming from his shop. His phone number is 204.642.3208.

Thank you. Actually deal with Zag Fab in Riverton, that builds the best commercial aluminum boat out there. Will also be up there this February having some repair work done on an aluminum airboat hull.

Thank you so much!!!!

Looking pretty slick, i think the newer machines would look great too in aluminum body as well.
