Hello members,
I've got a B12-CS 1946.
Got it without a speedometer cable.
- Any idea where it is connected on the other end ? (transmission, differential, etc )
- Any suggestion for suitable replacement on the market ?
- I understand that the original set-up was reading twice the real speed. Any tips to make it right ?
Thanks a lot.

Your cable it attached to the transmission. You can check with www.redlinegaugeworks.com 661-259-8891. I have never used them, but their site claims they can make any type of speedometer cable. One thing to note is the transmission is Chrysler and the gauge is 1937 or 38 Ford.
They may be able to do a gear reduction in the line or a different gear at the transmission. It does read about twice the ground speed. Let me how you made out.

Thanks !
I'll start looking on the transmission for a connector.
I've remove the center top of the back seat where I can see most of it.
