Title: Swing arm needle bearings
Post by: the old trucker on February 08, 2009, 10:33:34 am
Do anyone know if there is anything that can be used in the swing arms besides the needle bearings or getting brass or bronze bushings made ?

What about using Teflon turned into a bushing. One fellow used 1 1/2" black plastic water pipe. Says it works perfect. Any ideas ?   OT.

if you are talking about the boggie spindles that the tires  are connected to , you can replace them with brass bushings you can get from shavers. they work really nice. i think they are about 40 to 50 bucks apiece.
