Transmissions / Re: 727 tf neutral safety switch
« on: March 11, 2019, 02:22:10 pm »
Thanks guys for the replies. I am wondering if anyone had any issues with a shakey engine due to a Tranny off a 318 bolted to a 360 engine or if it is even the transmission that’s shaking the engine. It seems after running the engine while it shakes the tranny started leaking. Any leads would help with my problem.

Drivetrain / Bearings
« on: January 13, 2019, 07:33:05 pm »
I have noticed on a 74/75 wide gauge bombardier that has a large bearing for the spindle (the one the bogie spring bolts on to) on the 74/75 bombers. As for a 78 era bomber, it has a smaller size bearing. Is there any benefits to either or? They seem like the same size bearing as the inner wheel bearing I may be wrong but I think it would be a good time to start up a "Bearings" topic in the drivetrain section. Any comments regarding bearings can be put in this topic

I have dealt with Summit racing and they have all kinds of parts, all you can get for any engine/tranny out there that I know and they supply the original look 1 wire alternator and a 1 wire distributor and couldn't be more happier with the services and how fast shipping was even to the Arctic

Would anyone know the diameter of the original exhaust they use on the newer bombardiers, I am trying to put together a list of parts needed to convert from the original style exhaust to exhaust through the back of the bombardier.
