if anybody can; the CRANMAN can

Can you tell me if there is any difference between the belly of a metal bodied machine versus a wooden bodied machine???
   Also the difference in length of a 12 & 18 passenger machine. Like a b-12 & c-18.

Well Cranman can't tell you a hell of a lot without asking Ted Playford who actually knows about these things. When you said you were going to look at a C-18 that was a narrow guage metal, I thought that it would have to be wide (18). Had cocktails with him at 5 today and Ted assured me that a C18 indeed was a 1957 narrow metal machine.

I appreciate you input sir. I knew it was a narrow because I had my measure tape with me. If you see Ted today would you ask him about the bellies of the machines. Thanks.
