Hello everyone.  I am new to this site.  I have a 1948 B-12 that I have begun to restore, but need to learn much about the Bombardier.  We have had this machine for many years, my father and uncle bought it in the 50's where it has been at our farm in SE Saskatchewan ever since.  The machine is in pretty decent shape, but does need alot of attention, as I would like to bring it back to as close to factory original as possible.  This site has been very informative and I look forward to learning much more as I go through this project.  I look forward to hearing from you in the future.

Best regards,
Wascana

Hello to all you Bombardier enthusiasts. I live at Bakers Narrows Manitoba. Currently have two machines. The first machine is a 1948 woody that I rebuilt in about 1995 - 96 and the second is 1959 narrow guage metal that I am currently working on. A new power train has been installed and now working on the body. Just retired so will have more time to work on it!!!!

HI all,

I stumbled onto this site and think it's great!  Nothing like a bunch of Bomber freaks.

Name: Scott Carsley
Location: West Yellowstone, Montana
Experience: I've been running bombs in Yellowstone since 1984.
Machines: I own 8 R-12's ranging from 1952 - 81.  All metal wide gauge.  All now run Chevy V-8's, 2 are 350s carborated and 6 we've squeezed 5.3 liter Vorteks complete with computer, catalytic converters etc to exceed emmission standards soon to be set by Yellowstne Park.

Hello,

My name is Dale Hanson from Pilot Butte, Sask.
I have been following this forum for awhile now and have decided I want to find an old woodie to rebuild. I haven't
ridden in a bombardier since I was a kid but this forum has sparked a renewed interest in them. The neighbor had a steel bodied
bombardier for a few years and gave me a ride in it. I prefer the styling of the woodies over the steel machines so thats what
I want to rebuild. Thanks to all the members for your wealth of knowledge and the willingness to freely share it.

Hello Snowbusman from Sault Ste Marie here,
Really missed this site while you were off line. Is there anything I can help with? This site has been so helpful to me and I hope I have helped others in return.
